DISABLED BUT NOT REALLY

DBNR MISSION

Wesley founded DBNR in 2015. The foundation’s mission is to forge diverse journeys of courage and confidence for people living with disability. DBNR strives to restore hope, peace, and love within the disabled community as a unit. They empower everyone with a limitless mindset – advocates, athletes, and staff alike.

#HELPMEFIT CHALLENGE

The #HelpMeFit Challenge is a DBNR program aimed at guiding people living with disability towards their own journey of independence. Disabled But Not Really, and the #HelpMeFit Challenge, are here to help disabled athletes who are ready to take maximum ownership of their health and their future.

#HELPMEFIT MOBILE

#HelpMeFit Mobile is a community program developed by Disabled But Not Really. They focus on bringing the gym to people experiencing difficulty getting out to their local facilities. #HelpMeFit Mobile creates blended environments while bringing workout equipment to communities who lack local gyms and other resources for public use. DBNR has partnered with several Kansas City municipal departments in bringing the mobile gym to various communities. DBNR and #HelpMeFit look forward to building additional trailers to expand our reach to other cities and neighborhoods.

DONATE TO DBNR

Between his personal training business, his speaking engagements, and his consulting services, Wes is always working a triple-shift. Disabled But Not Really certainly keeps him both busy and grounded with the important work improving the lives of people living with disability and their communities. DBNR has tons of other programs it is involved with thanks to the generous contributions of its donors. Visit their website to see many more details about this important work.
